Oscar winner Morgan Freeman, currently seen in the blockbuster hit "The Dark Knight," was airlifted to a Tennessee hospital after a serious car accident Sunday night.
Police report that Mr. Freeman, 71, was driving on Highway 32 near the town of Ruleville, Miss., just before midnight when his car left the road and flipped several times. Freeman and a female passenger had to be extracted from the vehicle and flown to Regional Medical Center in Memphis, Tenn.
