After Sen. McCain used an image of Paris Hilton in an ad last week mocking Barack Obama as an international celebrity, Ms. Hilton released a Web video of her own saying her inclusion in McCain’s ad must mean she’s running for president.
“So thanks for the endorsement, white-haired dude,” she says in the ad, while sitting outside wearing a leopard-print bikini. “And I want America to know that I’m, like, totally ready to lead.”
In the video, Hilton lays out her energy proposal, after reading an article on where to get the best tan. She muses about painting the White House pink, and then signs out with:
“I’m Paris Hilton, and I approve this message — because I think it’s totally hot.”
After getting a chuckle from the video, McCain’s campaign released a statement.
“It sounds like Paris Hilton supports John McCain’s ‘all of the above’ approach to America’s energy crisis - -including both alternatives and drilling. In reality, Paris Hilton may have a more substantive energy policy than Barack Obama,” spokesman Tucker Bounds said. [Fox News]
